Saturday, June 12, 2010 - Hayden Field, Lexington Benefiting COMPASS for homeless
families, a program of COMPASS for kids Shake It for Shelter is an adult evening of
dancing, bidding and good fun- all for a great cause - ending family homelessness.
With live rock and roll, a
very cool auction, and food and drink that fit the mood, Shake It for Shelter has become an annual go-to event for
Greater
Bostonians who launch summer dancing under a tent - a temporary shelter. Since 2002, more than 1,500 individuals and
businesses have particiapted in Shake It for Shelter. This year, tiki torches, ferns, spiders, Buffs, snake bites
and a Polynesian vibe will help set the mood.
